DERMAL FILLERS
Dermal Fillers have become increasingly popular with an increase in celebrities using cosmetic treatments. This popular treatment is often used to give more volume and enhance the clients own natural features. Dermal fillers provide a way of correcting moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. They can instantly soften tell-tale ageing lines such as the nose to mouth lines and marionette lines and improve looks by enhancing natural features. They restore volume; improve skin elasticity, and smooth lines and imperfections giving you a more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers can also be used to sculpt and shape including Chin, Nose, Jawline, Cheeks and Temple.

A topical anaesthetic is used to ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible and many products contain lidocaine to make the procedure less uncomfortable.

Minimal discomfort is expected during these treatments and little to no bruising should occur with the careful techniques used. Any mild bruising will usually resolve after 1 to 2 week. The area treated may feel tender for the first 3 – 5 days and over the counter analgesia can be taken. Normal activities like exercise can be resumed after 48hours.

LIP ENHANCEMENT / DEFINITION
Dermal fillers into the lip can give the ageing lip giving more hydration and can softening lines and wrinkles around the mouth. It is also used to create volume and correct asymmetry. Popular products include Juvederm Ultra and the Vycross range, Intraline, Restylane and Belotero. Your overall desirable outcome will be discussed with you to advise the product most suitable.
NOSE TO MOUTH LINES AND MARIONETTE
Nasolabial folds are the lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the upper lip, they are also often referred to as smile lines. Dermal filler can be used to soften and lift these lines creating a more youthful appearance. A variety of dermal fillers can be used depending on the severity of the line/fold, again this will be advised at your consultation or appointment.

Marionettes are the lines that run from the corner of the bottom lip to the chin, dermal filler helps to restore volume loss and hydration reducing or eliminating the fold/wrinkle.

CHIN AUGMENTATION / ENHANCEMENT
A non-surgical chin shaping procedure, chin augmentation is an excellent and affordable option for patients who would like to achieve a more pleasing appearance without the risks of surgery. Dermal filler is used to improve the chin shape and overall jaw line.

An initial consultation will determine the goals of treatment, make note of any associated abnormalities or asymmetry and plan the optimum non-surgical chin shaping to achieve the ideal result in each patient. Treatment is then carried out in the our new beautiful clinical area and takes around 30minutes. Voluma or intraline is injected into the chin to improve the shape, profile, projection and symmetry.

TEAR TROUGH
Tear troughs can be a very unforgiving area to treat and must be done by a medical professional with experience in this area. Small amounts of filler are injected into the hollow to create a fuller illusion and improve appearance of dark under eye circles. This can often take more than one treatment but this will all be explained during consultation. This area often bruises and can swell so a consultation is necessary to discuss a treatment plan.
CHEEK ENHANCEMENT / CONTOUR
Cheek enhancement with dermal filler gives the face back volume and structure lost over time leaving a more youthful appearance. Cheek enhancement can often indirectly improve the hollow under the eyes (tear trough), marionette lines and nasolabial folds.
LIQUID RHINOPLASTY
A Liquid Rhinoplasty is a non-surgical treatment that changes the shape of the nose using dermal filler. A Liquid Rhinoplasty can improve the shape, size, and in some situations, position of the nasal tip, straighten the nose, and hide a bump. A Liquid Rhinoplasty is not for everyone, since it can only be used to fill hollows or depressions. A Liquid Rhinoplasty does not make a nose smaller and it does not remove bumps. A consultation and an examination is needed to determine if you are a candidate for a Liquid Rhinoplasty prior to treatment.

Bruising is usually minimal but the nose can feel tender for up to 2 weeks with some swelling. Over the counter analgesia can be taken. Repeat treatments are recommended every 12 – 18 months to maintain the desired shape.
